I had the misfortune of watching another Hollywood movie last night after a week full of misery in which I had to combat other egregious Hollywood movies. I swore never to watch one again. I swore, cursed, kicked ass and even called names and yet I found myself slowly being seeped back into the cinema hall like a relapsing drug addict.

In Part One we discussed the relentless zigzag that was David Fincher’s career, a theory that led us to the unarguable conclusion that his remake of The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo would suck a big one.
But did it?
Well, no. It certainly keeps the pattern alive though; this is not Fincher at his best. Lacking the probing intelligence that marks out the best of his work (Fight Club, Zodiac, The Social Network) this just feels like a very well made Hollywood movie (albeit an under-lit one...) I couldn’t quite place my finger on what the problem was; it was enjoyable enough but didn’t grasp me the way Fincher’s films can.
This is a hugely entertaining, humorous and exhaustingly-paced German thriller from writer/director Tom Tykwer, starring Franka Potente - of The Bourne film series fame.
The innovative visual style using several different filming techniques, the palpable sense of urgency, the pulsating techno score and an array of unique characters makes Run Lola Run an incredibly fun and exciting experience.

Avenging April keeps on Assembling here at All Geek To Me, we are close now, very close, and it is more than a little exciting. As a lead up to the big event on April 27th, I have decided to go back, dip into my Blu-ray collection, and watch all of Marvels Avenger based films, in sequence; in order to drive me into fits of excitement and refresh my memories of said films.

Over the years a number of people turned up at the Brady house who just happened to be dead ringers for one (or more) of The Bradys. Some of them are obvious but some are a little more obscure.
- Arthur Owens who was Peter’s exact double, so much so he was able to fool the rest of the Bradys into believing he was Peter.
Make no mistake, I think that Sony's Uncharted trilogy is one of the best, most technically impressive games of this generation. In an age where (I personally think) games are showing less and less innovation, where companies are happy to churn out carbon copy games annually (Call of Duty anyone?), it takes a game with a decent, engaging story to keep me hooked.

Tonight I had the opportunity to hear the final pitches at Atlanta Startup Weekend 2012 at Georgia Tech's ATDC. The teams did a great job, especially considering they only had a weekend. With over 120 people, Atlanta Startup Weekend continues to be one of the largest annual startup events in town.

Today is a big day for Adobe. Not only is the company officially unveiling the next versions of virtually all of the applications in its Creative Suite, but Adobe is also launching its Creative Cloud online offerings. This marks a major change in how Adobe is selling and marketing its flagship product: while the company will continue to offer a shrink-wrapped version of CS6, it's also introducing a subscription service with this update.
Adobe today officially announced the launch of Creative Suite 6, the next major update to the company's bundles of popular design applications. The release sees new versions of 14 separate applications, including the flagship Photoshop CS6 that has been offered as a free public beta for the past month.

Following last week's rumor that Apple is looking to adopt thinner in-cell touch technology for the display of the next-generation iPhone, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who recently took on a new position with KGI Securities, has issued a report looking at how that change could help Apple reduce the thickness of the iPhone from the current 9.3 mm of the iPhone 4S to under 8 mm.
Research analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who has in the past offered accurate information on Apple's Mac product roadmap, recently took on a new position with KGI Securities and has published a new report today indicating that Apple may be preparing to drop the 17-inch MacBook Pro from its lineup due to weak sales.
Kuo's prediction comes as Apple is expected to introduce new notebooks that serve as a hybrid between the current MacBook Air and MacBook Pro models, offering greater power than the Air but greater portability than the Pro.
