Chris Brown Sharing His’Fortune’ in May

“F.A.M.E.” worked out pretty well
for Chris Brown **’s career, and
this spring, the R&B star will
offer fans his “Fortune.” Brown’s
fifth full-length will be released
on May 8 through RCA Records,
less than 14 months after
“F.A.M.E.” debuted at No. 1 on the
Billboard 200 albums chart.
“Fortune” was previewed by
first single “Turn Up The Music,”
which debuted at No. 10 on last
week’s Hot 100 and slipped to
No. 19 on the chart this week.
According to a press release,
“Fortune” will be released in both
standard and deluxe editions,
and both are available for pre-
order on April 10.
The album announcement kicks
March off for Brown after a
hectic February for the singer: he
performed at the Grammys and
collected the Best R&B Album
award for “F.A.M.E.” before
hopping on two controversial
remixes with his ex-girlfriend
Rihanna **. Brown then
unleashed the music video for
“Turn Up The Music” — his
directorial debut — before
delivering a surprise
performance alongside Pitbull **
and Ne-Yo ** at the NBA All-Star
Game on Sunday night.
“I hope this album shows
growth and positivity to all my
fans,” Brown wrote on Twitter
[ LINK] on Wednesday night, “and
will inspire them to live life to
the fullest!!! #FORTUNE”
