Alicia Keys, Diddy & PaulMcCartney Front Row at ParisFashion Week

The music world can’t resist
Givenchy! The label has become
synonymous with style and music,
not only because Madonna chose
the label for her Super Bowl
performance last month, but for
its edgy attitude and fierce
design. The Givenchy Autumn/
Winter 2012 show walked in
Paris Sunday night (March 4) and
attracted quite the star-studded
front row, including Alicia Keys,
Paul McCartney, Diddy, Robyn and
Kanye West watched as fideistic
equestrian gear walked down the
Keys stunned the crowd as she
entered in a white tuxedo jacket
placed delicately over her
shoulders. While she was in good
company with McCartney, Kanye
kept his look cool, also rocking
white, in a Givenchy sweater with
silver studs around the collar,
black jeans, and a Cartier bracelet.
Diddy looked dapper in a black
suit paired with a leather shirt for
an added edge. “People always
ask what I would love to do, and I
think it’s going to Paris for the
shows,” he told WWD [ LINK].
Flanking Diddy was rapper Shyne
and singer Robyn.
The show began with pounding
music, blended with a horse-
galloping tempo. However the
collection was so spectacular
guests seemed unfazed by the
loud sound. “Oh my gosh, I could
barely pay attention because I
was too swept away in the
clothes. I loved them!” Keys said
after the show.
So what did this dazzling
collection look like? Blending
polo’s and bondage gear,
Givenchy designer, Riccardo Tisci
redefined what we think of to be
preppy. Riding jackets and racing
boots were parried with black
leather skirts and red, brown, and
black furs patchworks. The overall
glamour rock look was drenched
in leather and will surly be
spotted on the music industries
top names this fall!
