Lumidee Denies Young MoneySigning

Lumidee ** has not signed to the
YMCMB label group, the “Never
Leave You (Uh Oooh, Uh Oooh)”
singersinger clarified on Twitter
[ LINK] on Monday.
“I did not sign a deal with
anyone!!! Sorry for the false info
corny ass people HAD access to
my page….,” she tweeted.
Earlier, a tweet appeared on
Lumidee’s page stating, “I Just
signed a Deal With #YMCMB :D,”
which was then removed.
Lumidee’s most recent release
was the 2011 single “Dale Mami,”
with rapper Somaya Reece.
Cash Money Records CEO Birdman
and Young Money founder Lil
Wayne were silent on the false
news on Twitter, though Birdman
boasted about the label’s future
signings on the social networking
service on Saturday.
“What who we sign Next gone
f*** the Worldup.YMCMB,” he
tweeted [ LINK].
The labels recently announced the
signing of alt-rock veterans Limp
Bizkit. According to XXL, YMCMB
could release many as 16 albums
in the next six months, including
sets by Bow Wow, Lil Twist, Busta
Rhymes and Mystikal as well as
Nicki Minaj’s much-anticipated
“Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded,”
which is set for April 3.
