Windows XP has a built in security feature which forces you to enter a password in order to access the operating system. While this provides added security, it also lengthens the time it takes for you to access the operating system. Consequently, you may want to access Windows XP without a password, otherwise known as logging on automatically. It is important to note that, without a password, anybody will be able to turn on your computer and access your operating system.
